Your customer account is shared across all Boulder gyms, and a ticket or membership is valid at every gym. For this reason the companies act as joint controllers: your data is available to all Boulder companies to manage your account, tickets and membership. You can exercise your rights by contacting any of the companies or the contact person for the register.
What data we collect
- First and last name
- Email address and phone number
- Date of birth
- Date your customer relationship began
- Information about purchases, memberships and visits
- Recordings from the gyms' video surveillance
What we use the data for and on what basis
- Managing the customer relationship: account, tickets, memberships, orders and service-related communication. The basis is the contract between you and us.
- Legal obligations: for example accounting.
- Security: the gyms have recording video surveillance to protect the premises, property and customers. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the premises safe.
- Developing our services and statistics: the basis is our legitimate interest.
- Marketing emails: we only send them with your consent. You can give or withdraw consent at any time in your customer account.
How long we keep data
We keep customer data until you ask us to delete it. We delete data on request unless the law (for example accounting obligations), an open invoice or debt collection prevents it. Video surveillance recordings are kept only for as long as needed to ensure security.
Who the data is shared with
We do not sell or disclose your data to outsiders for any purpose other than those below. We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Gymkeeper: customer account, tickets and memberships
- Paytrail: online payments
- ePassi and Edenred: sports benefits, when you pay with them
Data is not transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area. Data is disclosed to authorities only when required by law.
Cookies and external content
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser only stores your choice between the light and dark theme. The website includes Instagram posts and Google Maps maps that are loaded from a third-party service. In that case the provider receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request its correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, and move your data to another service. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can send requests by email to the addresses above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
